PCG Issues Prophecy About Donald Trump

By now, it should be fairly obvious that Armstrongism is a cult. Numerous articles on this and other blogs from other writers have revealed countless false prophecies emmanating from PCG headquarters. Most recently, it is on the front page of their recruitment magazine, Watch Jerusalem, from January/February 2021...

As I wrote on January 7th 2021 in my article Incitement to Violence From a Sitting President - Who Saw That Coming? on World Politics 101, Donald Trump was the first President to incite to violence and rebellion. Last week the vote was 57-43 towards condemning him as guilty, yet there is a requirement that two-thirds must vote guilty, so he was narrowly saved from absolute humiliation of a conviction...

In the Eyes of Flurry He Is Free

There is no doubt that PCG headquarters consider this an acquittal of the ex-President. They will continue to see everything in the optics of right-wing politics, even though they claim their church organization is free from 'worldly politics'...

"Why is that?" is the only logical question.

Well, part of the answer is in the framework of their recruitment potential. It is their view that new members can be attracted on the basis of TOTAL support of Israel. That goal is in itself not a crime - rather the contrary. But it is part of a bigger framework of going against the tides of 'mainstream media', and this is only done because once you have dismantled trust in media, you can continue the brainwashing tactics.

Armstrongism is dangerous because people ARE encouraged to prove all things, as the Bereans did (Acts 17:11), but once people are inside the organization focus is shifted towards TRUSTING the ministry at all times, even when 'worldly' media speaks against something said by a minister.

This is important, because it is a tactic used in many cults. You should read my article Moving On - It Takes Time, because it does take quite a bit of time to free yourself from that mindset if you have ever been involved with any of the offshoots of Armstrongism.

Best of luck in moving on. If you have any questions or personal testimonies to add to this to the inspiration of readers, please feel free to comment below.
