At this time of the year, it's a good idea to do a status check on every blog. On the morning of December 3rd 2016, I was considering what I could possibly say - or write - that hasn't already been said - or written - on the subject of Armstrongism. This article is updated on May 22nd 2018 to keep the blog alive, just so you weren't wondering whether it was dead… :-)
Decades of abuse of the membership, and decades of frustration as 'the faithful' tried to do their very best, and yet reminded every Saturday - the so-called Sabbath - that what they did wasn't quite enough. The sentiment is well-known among all who have been involved with Armstrongism.
Part of the healing process is that once you get out of this, you realize that we are all human beings with a much bigger potential than trying to serve a ministry whose only target was to 'inspire' for more money for the so-called 'Work of God'...
It is so much more beautiful outside, and I do hope to find more to write on this blog, but hope you all understand that I do focus on so many other subjects nowadays that this is only a hobby. I do want to inspire those who have questions, and comments are welcome. That will probably be the primary inspiration for new articles, because otherwise there isn't much to say that hasn't already been said....
Have a good summer, and warm greetings to all. :-)
